Prisma Certified Cloud Security Engineer
The Operations team deploys the developers’ work once they have written a significant amount of code for new features, products, bug fixes, and other things. This is typically done using an automated ticketing system. This request is put in the Operations team’s queue, and it takes days, weeks, or even months for them to test the code and get it ready for production. According to the conventional methodology, if Operations encounters any issues during deployment, the team will send a ticket back to the developers with instructions on what needs to be fixed. After all of this back and forth is finished, the workload is eventually moved into production.
Software delivery becomes a drawn-out and disjointed process under this architecture. Operations teams frequently feel like the “dumping grounds” for development difficulties, while developers frequently regard operations as a hurdle that delays their project timetables.
