Course Description
SonicWall offers an extensive technical training curriculum for network administrators, security experts and SonicWall partners who need to enhance their knowledge and maximize their investment in SonicWall products and security applications. The SonicWall Network Security Administrator (SNSA) for SonicOS 7 training curriculum
is designed to teach students specific SonicWall network security technologies. The course will provide students with the skills to successfully implement and configure SonicWall firewall appliances and security services. SonicWall recommends this course for networking professionals responsible for the daily operation of one or more security appliances. Once you have completed the SonicWall Network Security Administrator course, you
are eligible to take the SonicWall Network Security Administrator exam.
Course Overview:
• Two days of instructor-led classroom training — 80 percent hands-on labs and 20
percent lecture
• Four hours of online learning pre-requisite modules
• Based on the recently released SonicOS 7 firmware
To access the SNSA certification exam:
1. Log in to your SonicWall University account.
2. The SNSA Exam page will be accessible through a link at the bottom of the eLearning course page.
3. You must complete the eLearning to activate the Exam access link.
4. If you did not pass the exam, you could purchase an additional attempt test key from the exam page at
SonicWall University.
5. The SNSA exam is proctored. If you take and pass the exam, you will receive a notification within three business days
with the final status of your exam.
6. Because this is a proctored exam, you will be required to take the exam on a single-monitor computer. Additional
resources are not allowed.
Network Security Essentials Administrator Training
You will learn the foundations of SonicOS Enhanced in this course. It gives you the context, information, and practical experience you need to start planning, putting into practise, and troubleshooting SonicWall security appliances with SonicOS Enhanced firmware.
The SonicOS Improved firmware’s configuration and deployment are covered in this technical training. You will get to know SonicWall’s cutting-edge feature set over a wide range, including Unified Threat Management (UTM), Single Sign On, VPN, and SSL VPN. In addition to learning how to validate settings and use SonicWall diagnostic tools for troubleshooting, you will also analyse the extensive list of security features SonicOS Enhanced has to offer.
