You gain the head start you need to start selling with Sophos with the Sophos Certified Sales Consultant Course. A wealth of knowledge about Central Endpoint and Server, XG Firewall, and other important Sophos products can be found in the Sales Basics course as well as general information about Sophos. That will be the first stage in your certification process and an excellent place for you to start as a Sophos Partner.

What about Sales certifications?

They both function in the same manner and are good for two years after release. On April 1 of each year, a new version of the SC01 Sales Fundamentals course and the SU01 Sales Fundamentals Update course are released.

SC01 should be finished as usual by new partners. From April 1, their certification will be valid for two years. Partners who have already finished SC01 can enrol in the quick SU01 Refresh course to extend their expiration date.

If you are current on our solutions and GTM strategy, you should be able to breeze through the most recent exam for Sales Fundamentals, which is contained in the SU01 Update course. But, if you want to brush up on your understanding, the SC01 materials  will always be available to you.

How can partners check their status?

Currently, you can either use this direct link or the Transcript option in the Training Portal to view all of your certifications and the dates that go with them. This will display both active and expired certifications.

We’ll be introducing a completely new compliance area to the Portal Administrators’ Partner Portal soon. So that partners may monitor their compliance, all of their company’s certifications will be displayed in one location. In a few weeks, Partner Portal Administrators will get further details about this.

Just remember:

  • Certifications are valid for two years from the point of release
  • Expiry dates can be extended by completing subsequent Delta courses
  • Expired certifications don’t count towards compliance requirements
