Juniper Enterprise Routing and Switching Training
INTRODUCTION TO THE JUNOS OPERATING SYSTEM (IJOS)
Junos device families and discusses the key architectural components of the software. Key topics include user interface options with a heavy focus on the command-line interface (CLI).
Students who complete this three-day course will be equipped with the fundamental skills needed to operate the Junos operating system and set up Junos hardware. The course covers the major software architectural elements as well as a quick introduction of the Junos device families.
The options for user interface, with a strong emphasis on the command-line interface (CLI), configuration tasks frequently involved with device setup initially, the fundamentals of interface configuration with configuration examples, secondary system configuration, and the fundamentals of operational monitoring and maintenance of Junos devices are important topics.
The course then digs into basic routing knowledge and configuration examples, covering things like firewall filters, generic routing concepts, and routing policies.
Students will gain expertise in configuring and monitoring the Junos OS through demonstrations and practical laboratories.
JUNOS ENTERPRISE SWITCHING USING ENHANCED LAYER 2 SOFTWARE (JEX)
This two-day course provides students with intermediate switching knowledge and configuration examples using Junos Enhanced Layer 2 Software.
Through the use of Junos Enhanced Layer 2 Software, this two-day course equips students with intermediate switching knowledge and configuration examples. An overview of switching principles and practises, virtual LANs (VLANs), the Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), port and device security features, and high availability (HA) capabilities are all covered in this course.
Students will gain experience establishing and monitoring the Junos OS as well as monitoring device functions through demonstrations and practical laboratories. Although the hands-on portion of this course uses Juniper Networks EX Series Ethernet Switches, other Juniper hardware platforms running the Junos OS are still compatible with the course materials. Based on Junos OS Version 13.2X51-D20.3, this course.
JUNOS INTERMEDIATE ROUTING (JIR)
This two-day course provides students with intermediate routing knowledge and configuration examples.
The course covers an overview of high-availability (HA) features, OSPF, BGP, load balancing, filter-based forwarding, and protocol independent routing features.
Students will learn how to configure and monitor the Junos OS as well as monitor device functions through examples and practical experiments. While the hands-on portion of this course utilises Juniper Networks SRX Series Services Gateways, the lab setting does not restrict the course from being applicable to other Juniper hardware platforms running the Junos OS.
ADVANCED JUNOS ENTERPRISE ROUTING (AJER)
Learn detailed coverage of OSPF, BGP, multicast, class of service (CoS), and EVPN-VXLAN is covered in depth.
The goal of this five-day course is to give students the skills they need to install, maintain, and troubleshoot Layer 3 components in a business network. OSPF, BGP, multicast, class of service (CoS), and EVPN-VXLAN are all well addressed. Also, the course introduces students to some of the standard commands and tools used in intermediate- to advanced-level troubleshooting. Students will acquire experience establishing and monitoring the Junos operating system as well as monitoring device and protocol functions through demonstrations and hands-on labs.
ADVANCED JUNOS ENTERPRISE SWITCHING USING ENHANCED LAYER 2 SOFTWARE (AJEX)
Learn to configuring and monitoring the Junos operating system and in monitoring device and protocol operations.
The virtual LAN (VLAN) operations, Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol (MSTP) and VLAN Spanning Tree Protocol (VSTP), Layer 2 network authentication and access control, IP telephony features, class of service (CoS), and monitoring and troubleshooting tools and features supported on the EX Series Ethernet Switches are all covered in detail during this two-day course.
Students will acquire experience establishing and monitoring the Junos operating system as well as monitoring device and protocol functions through demonstrations and hands-on labs. Although the hands-on portion of this course uses Juniper Networks EX 4300 Series Ethernet Switches, other Juniper hardware platforms running the Junos OS are still compatible with the course materials. Based on Junos OS Version 14.1X53-D25.2, this course.
JUNIPER NETWORKS DESIGN FUNDAMENTALS (JNDF)
Learn the Juniper Networks Design Fundamentals.
This three-day course will serve as the precondition for other design topic areas, such as data centre, security, and WAN, and will cover best practises, theory, and design concepts for overall network architecture.
ADVANCED JUNOS SERVICE PROVIDER ROUTING (AJSPR)
Gain experience in configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting the Junos operating system and in monitoring device and protocol operations.
The goal of this five-day course is to give students a thorough understanding of OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, and routing policy. Students will receive practical knowledge of configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting the Junos operating system as well as monitoring device and protocol functions through demonstrations and hands-on laboratories.
Although the hands-on component of this course uses Juniper Networks vMX Series Routers, the lab setting does not preclude the course from being applicable to other Juniper hardware platforms running the Junos OS. The Junos OS Version 17.1 is the foundation for this course.
INTRODUCTION TO JUNOS PLATFORM AUTOMATION AND DEVOPS (IJAUT)
Introduction To Junos Platform Automation And DevOps.
Students who complete this three-day course will have a basic understanding of how to automate Junos using DevOps automation tools, protocols, and technologies. Students get first-hand exposure to the languages and tools needed to automate the Junos OS platform in a DevOps setting.
The course offers an introduction to NETCONF, the Junos APIs, and fundamental DevOps concepts. The focus shifts to automating Junos using Python, PyEZ, Ansible, and REST API. We introduce XML, JSON, and YAML since they make Junos automation easier.
Students will get practical knowledge of automating the Junos operating system and device functions through demonstrations and hands-on experiments. Ansible 2.5, Junos PyEZ 2.1, and Junos OS Version 18.1R1 are all used in this course.
It is an introductory-level course called Introduction to Junos Platform Automation and DevOps (IJAUT).
JUNOS LAYER 2 VPNS (JL2V)
