Juniper Security Expert (JNCIE-SEC)
You can demonstrate a deep understanding of security technologies in general as well as Junos OS software for SRX Series devices in the Security track. The highest level of the Junos Security certification track is JNCIE-SEC.
Your ability to deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot security platforms based on Junos will be verified by the JNCIE-SEC test. Using firewall devices, you will construct a secure enterprise network over the course of the six-hour practical test that consists of numerous interconnected sites and services. All devices will need to have their systems configured, and you’ll also need to set up secure management tools, apply advanced security measures, design intricate policies and attack prevention measures, and use IPS and HA features.
This track contains four certifications:
- JNCIA-SEC: Security, Associate. For details, see JNCIA-SEC.
- JNCIS-SEC: Security, Specialist. For details, see JNCIS-SEC.
- JNCIP-SEC: Security, Professional. For details, see JNCIP-SEC.
