About the Position
The project management job will play a significant role in delivering software and operations projects and solutions for internal and external customers. The ideal candidate has great interpersonal and communication skills and can develop a keen understanding of how the department and project integrate into the larger organisation.
This is a terrific opportunity for someone with broad technical knowledge, the capacity to assess applications and systems from a product perspective, and the capacity to make informed project decisions. A successful applicant will establish cross-functional partnerships with Product Management, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Operations, Technical Support, and Product Marketing in order to enable successful product delivery throughout the whole organisation.

A day in the life
You are able to perform this job from a home office or other nearby distant location. You are urged to arrange your day accordingly, keeping a healthy work-life balance in mind. We are a global organisation, therefore meetings could take place early in the day or late at night. Conversely, those times may also be required for you to get a chance to speak with important people. When you start your day, you’ll probably have email from your teammates throughout the world. When meetings are planned, you handle your email and take part in them using Microsoft Teams or Zoom. You will probably be hosting or leading some of these meetings as the project manager. Your calendar should provide space for dropping off and picking up children from school. You are able to perform this job from a home office or other nearby distant location. In projects and initiatives, work closely with the project team to manage their commitments, deadlines, resource allocations, and deliverables.
To manage priorities and produce high-quality solutions in line with the product vision, you must comprehend how our internal partner and stakeholder teams work.
Communicate project goals, milestones, status, and dependencies clearly and promptly to the team, stakeholders, and management.
Roadblocks, difficulties, and dangers that could impede the success of the project as a whole should be identified and reported to the appropriate stakeholder (s)
Develop a team that works well together and values equity and inclusion.
Competencies and Certifications
Communications – Project management involves leading teams from different departments who may not be used to working together. Members may have different skills and may be expected to bring something unique to the table. A communicator who can provide clear instructions and expectations for their teams will increase work productivity and efficience
Time Management Skills – The ability to manage time and prioritize tasks is an essential characteristic of efficient project managers
Problem-Solving Skills – With the help of your project team and management support, the ability to propose and identify solutions to resolve challenges potential or already impacting the project
Leadership Skills – The ability to influence others in a positive manner to achieve project goals.Effective project managers tend to be excellent decision-makers and are able to delegate responsibilities to the team members most equipped to handle them
Data-driven, relying on it to make decisions; but also capable of moving forward without it. Ability to establish Key Performance Indicators based on available metrics
Experience
Experience with Agile software development principles and methodologies as well as Agile Development tools such as JIRA and Confluence is preferred
3+ years of experience of experience leading software development or operations projects
Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $115,000 – $145,000, exclusive of benefits. This position is also eligible for a bonus of 5% of the base salary. Your base salary compensation will be based on your individual skills, education, and experience. Please keep in mind that the above range is the full base salary range for this role; hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical in order to allow for future salary growth.
