DESCRIPTION
A Firewall is a device which is used to protect the IT network Infrastructure on the basis of traffic policies and rules by controlling protocols and ports for network traffic. Simply, its work is to deny or permit traffic based on the rules allocated on it. The real problem with the traditional firewall is to apply and manage the rules which are configured for the traffic management About the firewall, to be stable in current market, one should get trained for the Next Gen Firewall. NGFW is equipped with the traditional features like packet filtering, NAT, VPN etc but also it is designed to do “Deep Packet Inspection”, Application Level Awareness, inbuilt IPS and detailed traffic report which are lacking in traditional Firewall. Prerequisites: 1. Basic Knowledge of Network Technologies 2. Routing Protocol like RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP 3. Switching Technologies like Etherchannels, STP, VLANs 4. Other protocols like HTTP, HTTPS, IMAP, POP3, SMTP TCP/IP Protocol Suite 5. Network Security Fundamental Knowledge like Anti-Virus, Spams, VPN, IPS 6. Port Security, Authentication Types, Filtering, Network Gateway. 7. Basic Knowledge of Windows Server and Networking, Linux OS and Server. Who can opt for this? 1. Course Prerequisites
- Knowledge of networking equivalent to CompTIA N+ or better
- Understanding with security best practices
- Be able to setup a Windows server
- Knowledge of configuring and managing network gateway devices
- Knowledge of general Windows networking and Microsoft Active Directory
